Main School Uniform
Winter Uniform (Suggested numbers in brackets)
- Navy blue skirt (2)
- Navy v-neck pullover with long sleeves (2)
- White shirt (4)
- School tie (L5/U5 have special senior tie option)
- Blazer - The school blazer is the principal top garment, which must be worn to and from school for U3-U4 and every day in Assembly/Chapel for U3-U5 and on other formal occasions throughout the year.
- Scarf - A scarf, if worn, must be the regulation navy blue fleece lined college scarf
- Navy tights (6 pairs)
- White ankle socks
- St. Catherine’s Rucksack
- Strong black walking shoes, loafer style or lace-up, preferably leather (not suede, patent leather, high-heeled or wedge). These are not available from the School Shop. Ballet pumps are not acceptable. Please see Footwear link for preferred styles.
- In cold weather, girls may wear a smart plain navy coat on top of their blazer,
a plain navy blue fleece or a navy blue anorak.
Summer Uniform (Suggested numbers in brackets)
The wearing of summer uniform is optional from the beginning of the summer term and compulsory, except for U5, after half term in the summer term.
- Short sleeved summer shirt (2/3)
The summer shirt should be worn with the winter skirt. Girls may wear navy blue tights or white ankle socks (with or without turnover cuff) and black walking shoes. Please note, however, that trainer socks are not acceptable.
Sixth Form
Sixth Form do not wear uniform, but are expected to observe a respectable dress code as set down in the Sixth Form Handbook.
Sixth Form girls should have access to a smart two-piece or three-piece suit, (jacket and skirt/trousers) in a plain dark colour. This will be worn on all formal occasions, including the first day of term and Long Parliament at the end of term and on other occasions as stated in the Sixth Form Handbook. Girls taking part in musical performances must wear their suit skirt/trousers and a white shirt.
