11+ (YEAR 7)
Four Entrance Scholarships are available at age 11, awarded on the results of the Entrance Examination. Two scholarships are for one third of the fees payable and the other two for one sixth of the fees payable. These run through the Middle School and are extended through the Sixth Form at the discretion of the Headmistress.

A Music Scholarship of a third of the fees may be awarded annually to an 11+ candidate who shows exceptional musical talent.

Music awards are also available at 11+
UPPER 5 (YEAR 11) & SIXTH FORM - Internal Scholarships
(i) Margaret Kaye Scholarships
There are up to four scholarships of one third of the fees payable awarded to run for three years (through Upper 5 and Sixth Form).

(ii) Sixth Form Scholarships
Up to six scholarships are available, each of one third of the fees payable. Awards are based on performance in the Lower Fifth year, the results of the June examinations at the end of the Lower Fifth, and an interview. Parents of girls in the Lower Fifth are sent full details at the beginning of the Summer Term.

Clare Gregory Scholarship
This is awarded for sporting ability and is for one third of the day fees in the Sixth Form.

SIXTH FORM - Internal / External Scholarships
Academic Scholarships
There are up to three scholarships of one third of the fees payable, based on the Entrance Examination and interview. There are also a number of means-tested bursary places for day pupils. These are for the study of at least two languages or science subjects at AS/A2 level. Candidates interested in applying should request further details from the Senior School Registrar.

MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP
There is one Music Scholarship for a pupil entering the Sixth Form, to the value of one third of the fees payable. In addition there is the Jennifer Bate Organ Scholarship in association with Guildford Cathedral to the value of one third of the fees payable. Further details can be obtained from the Director of Music.

ART SCHOLARSHIP
There is one Art Scholarship for a pupil entering the Sixth Form, to the value of one third of the fees payable. Further details can be obtained from the Head of Art.

Note - in each case the fees referred to are the fees payable by the parent for the term in question, whether boarding or day fees.

MUSIC AWARDS
There are a number of Instrumental and Vocal Awards available for free music tuition. Further details can be obtained from the Director of Music.
