This is payable when a vacancy is offered and accepted. This will be credited against the school account, i.e. the account at the end of the last term at school. It is not otherwise returnable.

A full term’s fees for girls whose parents are resident overseas.

Health
|
|
The cost of medicines prescribed by the School Medical Officer is added to the fees. Charges would also be made in the unlikely event of special nursing being required, or a girl staying in the Medical Centre for part of the holidays. Any extras supplied by boarding housemistresses will be added to the girl’s personal account.

A total of 2 X double lessons per week will be given during each term. The price varies according to group size as above.
Incidental
Materials used in Home Economics, Textiles and Design and Technology will be charged for.
Expeditions & Entertainments
Girls are required to sign a list, having obtained their parents' permission. The cost is added to their Personal Account.
Invigilations
Where special Invigilators are employed for examinations, a proportionate charge will be made to parents.

Notice of Withdrawal
|
|
A term's notice of withdrawal must be given in writing by the first day of term, or a full term's fees must be paid. The same applies to any change of boarding / day status or withdrawal from 'extra subject' classes.

Please Note
|
|
Tuition and Boarding fees are payable in advance before the first day of term. If the account has not been settled, a girl may be refused admission at the beginning of a new term. The School may charge interest on late fee payments.

Payment methods
|
Fees may be paid by one of four methods:-
• Termly in advance by Direct Debit, on first day of term
• Monthly by Direct Debit through Holmwoods Termtime Credit
• Termly by cheque on or before the first day of term
• Advance payment by discounted lump sum (Composition Fees)
Details of the Holmwoods’ Scheme and of Composition Fees may be obtained from the School Accountant.
As previously advised, the Governors would prefer payment by Direct Debit rather than termly cheque, a method that simplifies administration and so reduces costs.
