Old Girls' Day 2005 on Sunday 11 September began as usual with a Communion Service. Old Girls joined the choir and amongst other other things, an anthem "Angel voices ever singing" composed for the occasion by Kerry Beaumont (Assistant Director of Music 2002-2005).

The theme for the service and Old Girls' Day was "Generations". Jane Barnett (staff member from 1954-1983) read the Epistle and Suzannah Royds ( 2004 Leaver) read the Gospel. Liz Chalwin ( 1967 Leaver) and her daughter Olivia Chalwin ( 1995 Leaver) read the Intercessions.
As part of the Service there was a Eulogy and Dedication of a Plaque in memory of Lady Daphne Heald, CBE, Major David Elliott, MC; and Sir David Calcutt, QC; Governors of the School.

They had both spent a term at Tudor Hall independent school and then Joanna went to Belize on a project to help protect jaguars and Guatemala to teach in a school.
