Reunion Lunch Thursday 24 June 2004
Following the success of the 1930's Reunion in 2003, and the interest expressed in a reunion by a group of 1943 Leavers a Reunion for this year group was held on Thursday 24 June 2004.
Alice Phillips, Headmistress, welcomed the visitors, a string quartet provided a musical interlude and Sixth Formers gave guided schools of the school today.
A chair donated by four of the people who attended the reunion when they were pupils had been renovated by Alastair White, Head of the Technology Department. Mrs Margaret Bowen (was Chalkin), Dr Joan Dean (was Putnam), Dr Anne Hunter (was Tottenham) and Dr Elizabeth Wilson (was Bell Nicol) drew lots to decide who should take the chair home.
