School Development Office

At Prize Giving on 5th July 2008, Mrs Phillips, Headmistress of the Senior School, and Mrs Jefferies, Headmistress of the Prep. School, spoke about the plans for the new Sports Complex and Assembly/Performance Hall and described progress on this project. Click here to view their speech.

Since Waverley District Council granted planning permission last November, the School and the architects IID [Initiatives in Design] of Twickenham have been very busy drawing up detailed design and fitting out for each room. The council are reviewing our application for the construction route to come off the A281. For a full update see the recent Development Bulletin.

This is the most significant development in the history of the School and will benefit every girl in the Senior School and the Prep. School. For full details of how it will be used by the girls as well as information about energy conservation please click on Development Fact File.

All members of the Association have been sent a copy of Funding the Future which launches the St Catherine's School Development Fund. The Headmistresses spoke of this exciting initiative to support the funding of the Sports Complex and Assembly/Performance Hall and other future developments over the next few decades and beyond.
