Curriculum Overview

Form I marks the start of Key Stage 2 and is characterised by many opportunities to develop the girls’ independence.

The girls are taught primarily by their form teachers. French and Drama are introduced into the curriculum and these are taught by specialist teachers. The girls continue to be set readings, spellings and tables for homework but they have a weekly written assignment as well.

From this year the girls are able to join many lunch-time and after-school extra curriculum clubs. Each term the class is able to vote for a Form and Deputy Form Captain who represent the form on the school council and this gives an opportunity for the girls to fulfil a role of responsibility.
