Curriculum Overview
Pre-Prep II continues to build on the solid foundations laid in Pre-Prep I.
The girls are encouraged to become increasingly independent during this year. The happy, secure and inspiring classrooms provide the girls with the confidence to tackle new challenges and to develop their emerging skills in reading, writing and maths.
The lessons in Pre-Prep II are based on all of the subjects of the National Curriculum. The Numeracy and Literacy Strategies are taught using practical activities, structured play and more formal teaching methods.
The girls have specialist teachers for ICT, Music and PE and there are plenty of opportunities during the year for the girls to celebrate their achievements in these subjects, such as school assemblies, Sports Day and the Christmas Nativity.
