On Monday 9th June all girls in Lower II and Lower III enjoyed a half day experience of programming Lego robots. The software used was part of the same family as that used for NASA’s latest space mission to Mars. After writing procedures on laptops to control the robots, the girls downloaded the programs directly into the robots. Whilst it was challenging to ensure the robots turned where they were supposed to go, it was a very rewarding experience with all saying how much they learnt from it. The sessions ended with a robot duet dancing to music which was quite an experience!
