Sixth Form House
Sixth Form Boarding for years 12 and 13 (L6 and U6 boarders)
The 6th form house is comprised of a selection of modern buildings and an old listed building called the “Warren” which is true to its name, with spacious rooms and arched gothic windows.

Miss McKane looks after 6th Form Boarding and teaches English. Resident House Tutors have accommodation in the 6th form area and assist with boarding duties.

There are twin bedrooms with study facilities and they have a wireless network for using their laptops. The L6 and U6 common rooms are large and very comfortable, each with their own kitchenette with a dishwasher. Freeview television, DVD, video and audio equipment is provided. Good laundry facilities are provided to enable the girl to gain that extra degree of independence.

Many of our students choose to board in the 6th form as a preparation for university life. Increased responsibility is matched by increased personal freedom. Excellent links with boys’ schools have been established, giving social opportunities.
