Choosing a school is one of the biggest decisions you will make for your daughter. At St Catherine’s, the answer to all three runs through everything we do. From age 2 to 18, every girl is known by name, valued and supported.
We are an independent day and boarding school for girls near Guildford and Godalming, set in 23 acres with room to breathe in the Surrey Hills. What changes is the stage she joins at, so this page is the starting point for whichever route is right for your family.
ONE SCHOOL, FOUR STAGES
Families join us at every level, but there are three natural entry points. Choose the one that fits your daughter’s age and we will guide you through the rest.
Pre-School and Prep School, age 2 to 11. Where curiosity begins. A nurturing start in Early Years, then a broad, lively Prep School education with specialist teaching, sport, music and the freedom to explore.
Senior School, age 11 to 16. Where ambition takes shape. Excellent teaching tailored to girls, a wide curriculum and the confidence to lead, with 79% of GCSE grades at 7 to 9.
The 6, our Sixth Form, age 16 to 18. Where she becomes the young woman she wants to be. Strong A Level results, a dedicated Sixth Form Common Room and boarding house, and expert support into university and beyond.
