We are delighted to welcome you to St Catherine’s Sixth Form, a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community where each girl is encouraged to pursue her passions and realise her full potential. St Catherine’s Sixth Form will prepare you not only for your A Levels but also for the diverse opportunities that lie ahead, be it university, apprenticeships, gap years, or other exciting pathways. At St Catherine’s, we believe in nurturing capable, confident young women, ready to seize life without limits!
In the Sixth Form, you will delve deeper into your favourite subjects, honing existing skills and acquiring new ones. Beyond academics, a diverse array of activities, from fundraising initiatives to filmmaking projects, awaits your involvement. Existing friendships are strengthened and new ones forged. The Sixth Form offers greater independence, requiring you to take responsibility for managing your time effectively. You will leave St Catherine’s ready to face the future with confidence and the ability to make a positive impact in the world.
As you progress into Upper 6, you will contribute increasingly to the running of the School and your House, affording you valuable leadership experience. These responsibilities will also position you as a role model for the younger girls. The Sixth Form tutor team will support you in subject specialist form groups, guiding you through the university application process and helping you plan for your future beyond St Catherine’s. Our consistently strong A Level results and the impressive array of university destinations achieved by our leavers each year stand as a testament to the academic excellence and supportive environment at St Catherine’s. From the team-building induction days that mark the beginning of your Sixth Form journey to the much-anticipated Lower 6 Musical at the end of the academic year, St Catherine’s offers a wealth of opportunities to engage, lead, and grow.
